Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) and The Acta Group (Acta®) are pleased to announce the addition of five accomplished, experienced professionals to our firms.
 
Heather J. Blankinship has joined our firms as a Senior Regulatory Consultant. Ms. Blankinship works with clients to develop strategic, comprehensive, cost-effective approaches to global regulatory compliance, product risk assessment, and sustainability programs. Ms. Blankinship’s product category expertise includes oil and gas, polymers and fibers, specialty materials and solvents, glass manufacturing, and industrial coatings. Prior to joining B&C and Acta, Ms. Blankinship directed the development and implementation of integrated global product stewardship and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities for Guardian Industries, INVISTA S.à r.l., and Flint Hills Resources, among others.
 
Dana S. Lateulere has joined our firms as a Regulatory Consultant. Ms. Lateulere is a former biologist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) who has been assisting clients in private practice for over 20 years with federal and state pesticide registrations under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), and applicable state regulations.  Ms. Lateulere’s experience and skill in preparing and submitting new product submissions and registration review responses, managing lab work and data procurement, composing compliant label systems, and shepherding submissions through regulatory agency review efficiently and timely is a tremendous asset to clients.
 
Kelly N. Garson has joined B&C as an Associate. Ms. Garson assists clients with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), FIFRA, and other federal and state regulatory matters. Ms. Garson has completed clerkships and internships in a number of federal, state, and local agencies, including the EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA); the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division; and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. She holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the George Washington Journal of Energy and Environmental Law.
 
Nicole S. Inabinet, MS has joined our firms as a Scientist.  Ms. Inabinet brings more than 15 years’ experience working in hazard and risk assessments, environmental health management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, data analysis and data mining of toxicological information systems, and program development.  Prior to joining Acta and B&C, Ms. Inabinet held positions as a toxicologist and senior scientist with Syracuse Research Corporation (SRC) and an account manager at Zeiders Enterprises, Inc.  Ms. Inabinet has served as a consulting scientist and toxicologist with the World Health Organization (WHO) International Programme on Chemical Safety (IPCS) Secretariat, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Secretariat, EHS Division. Ms. Inabinet holds advanced degrees, including a Master of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of London’s School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master of Science, Toxicology from the University of Surrey.
 
Paula M. Bérard, MLS has joined B&C as a Paralegal and Legal Editor, and joined Acta as an Editor and Writer. For more than 30 years, Ms. Bérard’s expert and accurate document review has improved books, periodicals, scientific papers, and government documents published by the American Chemical Society, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Geographic Society, and the Princeton University Press, among others. Ms. Bérard holds a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland.
