December 1, 2013: Fast Approaching Deadline to Train Employees under OSHA GHS Ruling
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rule aligning its Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) became effective on May 25, 2012. EDSP Testing Consortia Forming Now to Meet EPA’s Deadline
B&C® Consortia Management, L.L.C. (BCCM) is assisting companies with forming testing consortia to fulfill regulatory requirements under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP). On June 14, 2013, EPA issued the final second list of chemicals and substances for Tier 1 screening under the EDSP. Our memorandum regarding this development is provided below. B2PAC Changes Name to BRAG, Conducts Workshops on TSCA
Washington, D.C. (June 24, 2013): The Biobased Products Advocacy Consortium (B2PAC) debuted today a new name, logo, and web address to describe more fully and descriptively the wide range of industrial biotechnology products made by its member companies. The consortium is now known as the Biobased and Renewable Products Advocacy Group, or BRAG.
