Hayley J. Clayton, Ph.D., Joins The Acta Group, a Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. Affiliate

The Acta Group (Acta) is pleased to announce the expansion of our international regulatory and registrations capability with the addition of regulatory specialist Hayley J. Clayton, Ph.D., to our European staff.

With more than a decade of experience in global chemical development, manufacturing, and transport, Dr. Clayton brings to Acta and our clients a deep understanding of risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and dangerous goods safety, as well as an extensive network of contacts in UK and European regulatory agencies.

In her most recent role as European Regulatory Affairs Specialist for a world renown global distributor within the chemical industry, Dr. Clayton designed and led compliance and regulatory projects and audits across the UK and Europe, managing a complex team comprised of internal colleagues in product development, marketing/sales, and operations; suppliers and the integrated supply teams; and the appropriate authorities. She is an International Air Transport Association (IATA)-certified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and transport specialist, and has up-to-date knowledge of UK and European legislation regarding the sale, possession, and transport of restricted chemicals, including the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

Dr. Clayton received a Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry from the University of Huddersfield, and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry, also from the University of Huddersfield. She was awarded the W.E. Scott Inorganic Chemistry Prize.
