Register for In-Person TSCA Training Led by Richard E. Engler, Ph.D., at ChemEdge

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CDT
Wednesday, August 11, 2021, San Antonio, TX

There is no better way to prepare yourself and your company to meet TSCA compliance requirements than by enrolling in a day-long workshop lead by Richard E. Engler, Ph.D., Director of Chemistry at Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) and The Acta Group (Acta) and a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Any company that imports, stores, repackages, processes, uses, or disposes of industrial chemicals is subject to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) is presenting this in-depth Pre-Conference Regulatory TSCA Workshop to ensure ChemEdge attendees fully understand TSCA and its far-reaching impacts on their operations. You do not have to be an NACD member to attend, and you can register for just this workshop – attendance at ChemEdge is not required.

The TSCA Pre-Conference Regulatory Workshop agenda includes:

  • Introduction to TSCA
  • TSCA Inventory – Cornerstone to TSCA Compliance
  • Regulations on Existing Chemicals
  • What’s Coming Up Next
  • TSCA Audit
  • Q&A Session

Attendance at ChemEdge 2021 is not restricted to NACD members; anyone in the chemical distribution channel, including chemical distributors, manufacturers, warehouses, and service support companies, are encouraged to attend. The full conference agenda is available online, and registration is open.

Richard E. Engler, Ph.D., Director of Chemistry for B&C and Acta, has participated in thousands of TSCA substance reviews, as well as pre-notice and post-review meetings with submitters to resolve complex or difficult cases, and he draws upon this invaluable experience to assist companies as they develop and commercialize novel chemistries. Dr. Engler holds a Ph.D. in physical organic chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and taught classes in organic chemistry there and at the University of San Diego.
