TSCA Reform - Five Years Later, June 30, 2021, via webinar

The Environmental Law Institute (ELI), the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) were pleased to announce the fifth annual conference providing updates and insights regarding the current state of TSCA implementation, ongoing and emerging issues, and related developments. Topics included how EPA is implementing Section 6 risk evaluation provisions, changes in new chemical review, existing chemical risk management provisions, and TSCA’s role in achieving environmental justice, among other topics. There is an increase in global regulatory action on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs), particularly in the EU and North America. At Chemical Watch's PFAS Updates conference, key stakeholders from authorities, industry, and academia focused on fluoropolymers and their alternatives in the EU. They looked at regulatory trends in the US, including the regulation of PFASs as a class. Richard E. Engler, Ph.D., Director of Chemistry, Bergeson & Campbell, P.C.
