The Michigan Safety Conference was an annual two-day health and safety training event, targeted at workplace health and safety issues. B&C Senior Regulatory Consultant Christopher R. Bryant, presented "Improving Chemical Facility Safety and Security: An Update on Federal Action" on April 19, 2016.

Understanding and Complying with HCS 2012, an interactive webcast and workshop presented by the Council of Producers & Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) helped chemical manufacturers understand how to reclassify their hazardous chemicals, develop the appropriate labels and SDSs, or demonstrate "due diligence" to inspectors.  Speakers included B&C's Karin F. Baron, M.S.P.H., Dionne Williams, Directorate of Enforcement Programs, OSHA, and Adam Hamrick, OSHA Philadelphia Regional Office.

On February 9, 2015, the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published the "Enforcement Guidance for the Hazard Communication Standard's (HCS) June 1, 2015, Effective Date " (Guidance). The Guidance offers important insights into OSHA's HCS enforcement strategy and is a must read for stakeholders. B&C, Acta, and 3E Company presented a complimentary webinar on the steps companies should take before June 1, 2015, to comply fully with HCS, or else to document sufficient diligence toward full compliance to avoid enforcement action.
