Christopher R. Bryant Meets with the First and Second Secretaries of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China

On January 25, 2018, Christopher R. Bryant, Senior Regulatory Consultant at Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®), met with Pan Jianwei and Lu Chao, First and Second Secretaries, respectively, of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China regarding U.S. regulation of solid and hazardous waste.  China is currently revising its “Law on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste,” so the discussion was informative and timely.  B&C and its international consulting affiliate The Acta Group (Acta®) look forward to continuing to track the progression of this law, as well as other developing Chinese regulations.  B&C’s Predictions and Outlook for U.S. Federal and International Chemical Regulatory Policy 2018 contains more information about what to expect from developing chemical regulation in China in the Chemical Control in Asia Pacific Region section.
