In this role, Dr. Graham will guide and facilitate effective consortia performance in advocacy programs, public outreach, product stewardship, and testing and compliance. She offers BCCM consortia clients scientific acumen gained in academia and industry, and organizational, editorial, and promotional skills honed while with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), assisting consortia to reach and exceed their institutional goals. Lauren’s scientific background will also be put to good use for B&C and Acta clients.

Prior to joining BCCM, Dr. Graham was Assistant Editorial Development Manager at RSC. While there, she successfully managed hundreds of meetings with leading scientific researchers at universities and private industry. She organized publishing workshops and analyzed publishing data trends, developing regional strategies to increase readership and the industry profile of journals under her supervision. Dr. Graham also served as a graduate research assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, with a focus on nanotechnology and materials science. She began her scientific career in the laboratory at DSM Nutritional Products, evaluating chemical and physical properties of raw materials. Her responsibilities included implementing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in the labs.
