Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Lynn L. Bergeson has been elected to serve as a Regent of the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) for the 2022-2023 term. Ms. Bergeson has been a member of ACOEL since 2011.
ACOEL is a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Membership is by invitation, and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law, the administration of justice, and the development of environmental law through rigorous focus, outreach, and education in all forums — federal, state, municipal, Tribal, and international.
In addition to this leadership role with ACOEL, Ms. Bergeson is Co-Chair of the International Bar Association (IBA) Agricultural Law Section, is Immediate Past President of the Product Stewardship Society (PSS), is a former chair of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, and has served in leadership roles with many other business and professional organizations.
Ms. Bergeson is also President of The Acta Group (Acta®), B&C’s scientific and regulatory consulting arm with offices in Washington, D.C., the United Kingdom, Brussels, and China, and President of B&C® Consortia Management, L.L.C. (BCCM), which helps the chemical industry form consortia to achieve shared research, testing, and regulatory goals.
