These GE organisms include: plants, microorganisms (including fungi, bacteria, and viruses), insects, fish, birds, mammals, and other animals, excluding humans. The webinar for the FY 2026 BRAG Notice of Funding Opportunity will provide an overview of USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) and the BRAG program, application details and documents, the application evaluation process, tips for success, and additional information/resources. Letters/notices of intent are due July 1, 2026. The closing date is July 13, 2026.
