EPA Proposes to Codify Parent Company Definition for TRI Reporting

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a proposed rule on September 28, 2021, that would codify the definition of “parent company” for purposes of reporting to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). 86 Fed. OSHA Holds Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to the Hazard Communication Standard

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) concluded last week a three-day informal public hearing on its February 16, 2021, notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to amend the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). EPA Extends Submission Deadline for Health and Safety Studies on High-Priority Chemicals and Organohalogen Flame Retardants

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced on September 24, 2021, that it is extending the submission deadline for manufacturers (including importers) of 50 chemicals to report data from certain unpublished health and safety studies.
